Vending unstamped cigarettes

(a) Beginning April 1, 2001, any person who knowingly places for sale in a cigarette vending machine any cigarettes not contained in cigarette packages to which are affixed stamps as required by this part, shall be guilty of a class C felony.
(b) In addition to any other authorized disposition, a corporation found in violation of subsection (a) may be fined in an amount not to exceed $50,000. [L 2000, c 249, pt of §1, §20(2); am L 2002, c 94, §3]
