EXEMPTIONS -- FEDERAL AGENCY OFFICIAL EQUIPMENT: HRS § 134-11(b) It is a defense to the charge of (specify offense defined by HRS §§ 134-2 or 134-3) that, at the time of the offense, the
[firearm(s)] [and] [ammunition] [was] [were] part of the official equipment of any federal agency. The burden is on the prosecution to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that, at the time of the offense, the
[firearm(s)] [and] [ammunition] [was] [were] not part of the official equipment of any federal agency. If the prosecution fails to meet its burden, then you must find the Defendant not guilty.
