BRIBING A JUROR

Material elements — the prosecution must prove each beyond a reasonable doubt
material elements of the offense of Bribing a Juror, each of which the prosecution must prove beyond a reasonable doubt.
These two elements are:
1. That, on or about (date) in the [City and] County of (name of county), the Defendant [conferred] [offered] [agreed to confer], directly or indirectly, a benefit upon a juror; and
2. That the Defendant did so with the intent to influence the juror's [vote] [opinion] [decision] [(specify other action)] as a juror.
BRIBING A JUROR: H.R.S. § 710-1073(1)
[In Count (count number) of the Indictment/Complaint, the]
[The] Defendant, (defendant's name), is charged with the offense of Bribing a Juror. A person commits the offense of Bribing a Juror if he/she
[confers] [offers] [agrees to confer], directly or indirectly, any benefit upon a juror with the intent to influence the juror's [vote] [opinion] [decision] [(specify other action)] as a juror.
There are two material elements of the offense of Bribing a Juror, each of which the prosecution must prove beyond a reasonable doubt.
These two elements are:
